WHAT TO WEAR FOR YOUR FAMILY PORTRAIT PHOTOSHOOT

When I'm creating portraits for you, I'm always thinking about the overall look and feel of the images - does the setting suit the walls of your home, where might hang the images up, do the props and backdrops suit your personal tastes, do you feel comfy in the clothes, and do they complement the scene...?

If you're at the stage of planning your outfits for our portrait photoshoot, this blog covers my top hints and tips.

YOUR MOTHER'S DAY RESOLUTION

I'm on a bit of a mission. To get MUMS to be in more photographs. You might wonder why a baby and child portrait photographer wants to encourage mums to be in photos. Where's the big sell?

HALF TERM CHRISTMAS CARD CRAFTING (OR NOT)

It's early still, but the shops seem to be full of Christmas decorations and cards already (I thought they usually waited until Halloween was over?)

Anyway, since we've been a family of three, I've come to realise the value in personalised greeting cards, and thank you cards. Read on if you're feeling inspired to do something fun and crafty with the kids, particularly since half term is coming up next week. Would love to see what you make - feel free to post your photos in the comments below, or on my Facebook page.
